Tax Collector office promotes Teen Safe Driver Week with local community leaders.

Tax Collector will host a Public Awareness initiative on October 21st, 2014

Purpose: Launch and support a new driving program, Parents Supervised Driving Program, which helps address the need to improve roadway safety and teen driving behaviors. The Parent’s Supervised Driving Program, which is sponsored by Safe Road Alliance and Ford Motor Company, provides parents of teen drivers with a measured and methodical curriculum developed to maximize the value of the supervised driving component of state driver license laws. 

Our primary focus is to promote the vitally important responsibility parents assume in training teens to drive as well as providing the tools to perform their role well.
