Business Tax Renewal Payment Options
The Tax Collector's office offers various payment options designed to make the process as convenient as possible for you.
All business tax receipts expire September 30 and can be renewed on or after July 1. If you receive a renewal notice and are no longer in business or your business is no longer located in Hillsborough County, please indicate that information on the renewal notice, then sign and return the renewal notice in the envelope provided.
If your business, profession, or occupation is regulated by the state or county agencies, a copy of the documents verifying compliance must be presented to our office prior to renewing your business tax receipt online. This documentation can be sent to our office via email to email@example.com or you may fax it to (813) 612-6761. After we have received a copy of your current certification or licensure and updated our records, we can enable the online payment option for your business tax account so you can skip the trip.

Drop Box: Drop boxes are available at all of our branches as an added convenience. Please note, our AAA/Westshore branch and Downtown office drop box availability is limited. Drop motor vehicle or vessel renewals and tax payments at anytime. Please be sure not to deposit cash payments.
Walk In: Walk-In Locations and Wait Times
* Business Tax Payment are not accepted at our East Hillsborough Office. This location provides road testing services only. No driver license, motor vehicle or property tax transactions are processed at this location.
