Partial Payment Plan

Effective November 1, 2009, the Hillsborough County Tax Collector's office will accept partial payments for property taxes. While the partial payment plan is designed to assist and offer other means for taxpayers to pay their taxes, there are stipulations that must be met in order to participate in the plan.

• The tax collector can accept up to five (5) partial payments per folio for current year taxes. Delinquent taxes are not eligible for partial payments.

• The minimum partial payment is $100 and each partial payment remitted must include a $10 processing fee (as mandated by law) made payable to the Tax Collectors office.

• Partial payments are not eligible for any applicable discount set forth in F.S.197.162 and cannot be made online or by phone.

• Any remaining balance not paid before April 1^st. becomes delinquent. 

• Taxpayers who are currently on the Installment Payment Plan are not eligible for the partial payment plan.

• Partial payments are NOT accepted online or by phone.

• A signed acknowledgement of conditions set forth is required with first remittance.
