Mortgage Company Payments

To provide the taxpayers of Hillsborough County with a more convenient and efficient tax payment solution, the Tax Collector's office has partnered with AutoAgent Software, Inc.  Autoagent is a web based system designed to simplify bulk real estate tax processing and payments from mortgage companies, banks, lenders, tax services, title companies, corporations and private taxpayers.

This software will benefit our collective property tax payment processes and customers by expediting the return of overpayments to you for your escrowed mortgage accounts as well as reducing the number of erroneous payments remitted.

If you will be remitting payment for 2011 property taxes to the Hillsborough County Tax Collector's office, it is mandatory that you do so using AutoAgent Software, Inc. The only exceptions to this policy are for a parcel meeting any of the following criteria:

• On the Installment Plan

• On the Partial Payment Plan

• In a Bankruptcy status

• In the process of Tax Deed Foreclosure

Please note: There is a minimal charge of $0.20 per parcel committed for payment by you. Additionally, collection and remittance of this fee is handled directly between you and AutoAgent and is not remitted to the Hillsborough County Tax Collector's office.
