Help us Stock the Shelves for Hillsborough Education Foundation

We are very excited to once again host a school supply drive in support of the Hillsborough Education Foundation in 2018!

In Hillsborough County, 1 in 2 students qualify for free or reduced lunch. If lunch is difficult to afford, it's unlikely they can afford school supplies. The Teaching Tools Store provides free school supplies year-round to economically disadvantaged students attending Hillsborough County Public Schools designated as Title I (federal designation that signifies 60% or more of the students in the school qualify for the free and reduced lunch program).

Teachers shop monthly collecting on average $200 or more in free supplies to bring back to their classrooms. The store is open throughout the school year so a teacher can acquire nearly $2,000 in free school supplies throughout the school year.

We encourage customers to either bring school supplies to donate when they visit our office or make a monetary donation for this great cause. Please help us give back to our community and help our students!

We are very thrilled to report that we had over 70% of organization participation for this promotion and donated 49,118 items to students in need in Hillsborough County.
